Session 5: Shine On

The world needs everyone's authentic full self-expression. It does not need another Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, or Kylie Jenner – it needs you! Your gifts, your talents, your unique expression. Whether it's through the clothes we wear, the conversations we have, or the things we share, post, or like, we have the opportunity to express ourselves every day.

Discovering what lights you up and how to be fully self-expressed is a foundation strategy to help you discern when you have people-pleasing tendencies and seek approval from others outside of yourself.

In week five of our summer series, we will explore Shine On. We will have an opportunity to equip girls with tools to support their self-talk around their dreams and goals, how to say "no" to make room for more yeses, and learn you are the author of your story.

Self-Expression strategies often create the pathways to:

• Stronger coping mechanisms and faster recovery from life challenges
• Empowerment in decision making that influence positive outcomes
• The confidence and clarity to set healthy boundaries
• An ability to see situations from multiple perspectives and create a better understanding with others
• Healthier self-talk and body image
• Better discernment and decision making
