The Power of Time

Something we wish we would have realized earlier in our lives is that time is one of our most precious commodities. As teens and tweens, it can feel like we have all the time in the world and though we’re still learning how to manage ours, we know now that we would have benefited greatly from implementing a few time management and prioritization skills in order to eliminate the stress or lack of motivation that can work it’s way into our day-to-day lives.

The fact is, tweens & teens today live in a world that is far more complicated, stressful, and fast-moving than the world we experienced growing up even though our generations are not that far apart from one another. When it comes to staying focused on a task, we’re at a whole new level because we have infinitely more tools to help us stay on track yet, there are far more distractions pulling us away from the tasks at hand.

We don’t think it is an exaggeration to say that we live in the Age of Distraction. The ability to remain focused and on task plays a big part in our ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently.

In this month's workshop, we want to teach the importance of time management and help girls prioritize their schedules in an easy, obtainable way to eliminate the feeling of anxiety and overwhelm.

Throughout our conversation, we'll discuss how an effective strategy needs to be:

~ Easy to plan

~ Easy to implement

~ Easy to maintain
