WHY THE ONE DAY WORKSHOP?
This workshop is intentionally crafted to nurture your daughter’s self-esteem, support her growth, and strengthen her sense of community. She’ll learn tools that help her shine in real-life moments — from navigating friendships to speaking up with confidence.
Using our proven POWER framework, she’ll build the skills to face challenges with courage, embrace what makes her unique, and make a positive impact in her world.

HEY, I'M MARCY!
Hi, I’m Marcy! I’m a wife, mom to four, and very proud grandma to two sweet grandbabies. For the past 11+ years, I’ve ran my own accounting business here in Grand Island, Nebraska while simultaneously helping other women build their businesses. I also teach accounting at the local community college, mentor entrepreneurs through 1 Million Cups, and coach the Northwest High School color guard team; pouring into people is simply what I love to do.
Over the years, whether I was raising my kids, coaching students, or supporting women in business, I kept seeing the same thing:Â girls and young women struggling with confidence, boundaries, and knowing their worth.
They're bright, capable, and full of potential… but they didn’t always see that potential in themselves.
That realization sparked something big in me.
I wanted to create a space where girls could feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to see the possibilities ahead of them — not just the paths they already know. So I reached out to Girls Mentorship for guidance, and from that conversation, this workshop was born.
My heart is to help the next generation of girls grow into strong, confident young women who know who they are and what they’re capable of. I’m honored to bring this experience to Grand Island, and I can’t wait to welcome your daughter into it.
We’ve tried clubs, sports, programs… but nothing has impacted my daughter the way this did. She left with tools, friends, and a renewed sense of confidence. I’m so grateful this is available in our community.
