ONE-DAY. BIG LIFE SKILLS.
Give her the tools before she needs them.
A one-day Girls Mentorship experience designed to help 5th–8th grade girls navigate friendships,
communication, confidence, comparison—and all the stuff that comes with being a girl right now.
6 YEARS. 3,000+ GIRLS. A FRONT-ROW SEAT TO WHAT GIRLS ARE NAVIGATING.Â
Since 2020, we've worked alongside tween and teen girls through summer camps, after-school programs, school partnerships, workshops, and mentorship. We've listened to their stories, watched them practice these skills in real time, and learned a whole lot about what girls are navigating—and what actually helps.
Our curriculum isn't built around what we think girls need. It's shaped by what we've watched them navigate in real life.
PARTNERS WITH:
 Imagine her walking away with…
More confidence navigating friendship shifts.
Not because friendships suddenly become easy—but because she has a framework for slowing down, figuring out what's actually happening, and deciding what she wants to do next.
Language for the conversations that feel hard.
Instead of knowing something feels off but having no idea what to say, she's practiced communicating clearly, speaking up for herself, and navigating uncomfortable conversations.
Tools to stop a story before it runs away with her.
One unanswered text can become “she's mad at me,” “I did something wrong,” or “nobody likes me” pretty freaking fast. She'll practice separating what actually happened from the story she's telling herself about what happened.
More clarity around what's hers to own—and what isn't.
Not taking all the blame. Not placing all the blame. Learning to own her choices, her words, her reactions, and what she can do next—without carrying the whole pie.
Practice knowing when to speak up & when to let it go.
Because not every uncomfortable moment requires a confrontation. And not every uncomfortable moment should be ignored. She'll practice slowing down and asking: Does this need a conversation? A boundary? A different perspective? Or is this something I can release?
More trust in herself to figure out what comes next.
She doesn't need to have every answer. We want her to start trusting that she has what it takes to find one.
WHY NOW?
We're nearly halfway through the school year. And we're starting to see it.
We work with girls every day and we see the same thing show up again and again.
Friendships are shifting.
Group chats are complicated.
Comparison is creeping in.
Confidence is taking some hits.
Girls are overthinking what someone said, what they meant, why they weren't included, whether they should speak up... or whether they should just let it go.
And we're hearing it from parents, too.Â
Maybe you're already seeing some of it at home.
Or maybe your daughter is doing GREAT.
She's confident. She has good friends. School is going well.
We think both girls deserve the tools.
Because we don't believe we have to wait until something becomes a problem before we teach girls how to navigate it.
If she's already struggling, let's give her somewhere to practice.
And if she's thriving? Let's give her the tools before she needs them.
Because one day can give her something to reach for when real life happens.
No, we're not promising to solve every friendship problem, eliminate comparison, or make middle school magically easy in one day.
That's not how this works.
But one intentional day can give her:
Questions she knows how to ask herself.
Language for a conversation she didn't know how to have.
A way to separate what happened from what she's assuming it means.
Practice speaking up before she has to do it when the stakes feel higher.
A framework for deciding what's hers to own.
A reminder that someone else's choices don't determine her worth.
And a little more trust in herself to decide what comes next.
Our goal is for her to walk away thinking:
“I have tools. I trust myself. I know what I can do next.”
But don’t just take our word for it...
Introducing ONE-DAYS
A Girls Mentorship experience—packed into one really intentional, really fun day.
ONE-DAY is a six-hour, in-person Girls Mentorship experience designed to give girls time to learn, talk about, practice, and actually USE the skills that are hard to figure out in the moment.
We're taking some of our favorite lessons and tools from our signature POWER curriculum—the same curriculum we use in our camps, after-school programs, mentorship programs, and workshops—and bringing them together for one day built around what girls are navigating right now.Â
And we're not going to spend six hours talking at them, we'll be practicing these skills in real time.
Because there's a big difference between knowing she should speak up and knowing how to speak up.
Between being told “don't overthink it” and knowing how to separate fact from story.Â
Between hearing “just be confident” and actually trusting herself enough to decide what to do next.Â
Girls need reps.
And ONE-DAY gives them somewhere to get them.
One day. A whole lot packed into it.
REAL-LIFE TOOLS
We'll work through the stuff girls are actually navigating:
Get Curious Before You Get Carried Away
Say What You Mean (Without Being Mean)
Own Your Slice of the Pie
Stop Measuring Herself Against Everyone Else
Know When to Speak Up (and When to Move On)
Navigate Friendships Without Losing Herself
REAL-LIFE PRACTICE
Having a tool and being able to use it when emotions are high are two very different things.
Girls will get opportunities throughout the day to:
Talk it out. Role-play it. Try it. Mess it up. Try again. Build the reps.Â
So when real life gives her an opportunity to use the skill, it won't be the first time.
AND YES... IT'S ACTUALLY FUN.
This is Girls Mentorship.
We're not putting your daughter in a chair for six hours and lecturing her about communication.Â
ONE-DAY includes: Games + movement Small-group conversations Real-life scenarios + role-play Peer Leader connection Lunch with new friends Snack Shack Reflection + take-home tools Plenty of FUNÂ
A PEEK AT THE PRACTICE
“Okay, but what do I actually say?”
We make room for that question.
Examples of the tools we’ll practice together:
THE FACT
You see a photo of friends together. You weren't there.
THE STORY
“They don't like me anymore.”
A TOOL TO TRY
Pause the story. Get curious.
“I saw you all hung out. I'd love to join next time!” Then notice what happens, rather than deciding what everyone thinks.
THE FACT
Someone makes a joke about another girl in the chat.
THE STORY
“If I don't laugh, they'll turn on me.”Â
A TOOL TO TRY
Choose your response. Keep your values.
“Let's leave her out of this.” Practice a clear response, stepping away, and asking a trusted adult for support when needed.Â
THE FACT
A friend keeps borrowing your things without asking.
THE STORY
“If I say something, I'll be a bad friend.”Â
A TOOL TO TRY
Clarity is kindness.
“I'm happy to share sometimes. Please ask first.” Practice saying what you need with a calm voice and a clear boundary.
We can wait until she needs the tools.
Until the friendship gets complicated.
Until she's replaying the group chat in her head.
Until comparison starts messing with how she sees herself.
Until she knows something feels off but has no idea what to say.
Until you're sitting on the edge of her bed trying to help her navigate something you wish she already felt more equipped to handle.
Or we can give her the tools now.
Before the friendship gets hard, before she needs to have the uncomfortable conversation, before she finds herself questioning where she belongs, before she's standing in the middle of a situation trying to figure out what the heck to do next.
Not because we can prepare her for every single thing she'll experience. We can't.Â
But we can give her language, we can give her frameworks, we can give her opportunities to practice ANDÂ we can help her build a little more trust in her own ability to figure things out.
She doesn't have to be struggling for us to start strengthening the skills she'll need.
And if she is already struggling?
Let's give her somewhere to practice them.

Good questions.
Real answers.

a way to fill a Saturday or Sunday.
Does she need to be struggling with friendships or confidence?
What if she's coming alone or she's shy?
Are 5th–8th graders all together?
What should she bring?
Where is ONE-DAY held?
What does the $149 include?
Can I use ESA funds for her ONE-DAY?
Does my daughter need to have attended Girls Mentorship before?
One day won’t remove every hard moment she’ll face.
But it can help her feel more equipped for the next one.
We don’t have to wait until she needs the tools.
We can give them to her now.
