Six years of working with girls taught us something important.
Since 2020, Girls Mentorship has had the privilege of working with thousands of girls through camps, after-school programs, mentorship, leadership experiences, school partnerships, and community programming.
And year after year, we've heard versions of the same question:
“Do you offer scholarships?”
For years, our answer was to simply make it work whenever we could.
Discount a spot.
Absorb the cost.
Find a way to say yes.
But we knew there had to be a better way.
Girls Mentorship Foundation was created to build that better way.
The Foundation allows charitable dollars to remove financial barriers, expand access to meaningful opportunities, and help get resources into the hands of girls, schools, and communities that need them.
Because a family's financial circumstances shouldn't determine whether a girl gets access to tools that could change the way she sees herself and navigates her world.

Rather than recreating programming that already exists, Girls Mentorship Foundation helps more girls access it.
Our charitable giving currently focuses on three areas:

SCHOLARSHIPS + FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Help a girl get through the door.
Foundation funding provides full and partial financial assistance for girls who may otherwise be unable to participate in mentorship, camps, leadership development, after-school programs, and other mission-aligned personal growth opportunities.

SCHOOL + COMMUNITY ACCESS
Bring the opportunity to her.
Sometimes the barrier isn't the girl or her family—it's the resources available within her school or community.
Foundation funding helps subsidize and underwrite mission-aligned opportunities in schools and community settings where budgets or family resources might otherwise prevent girls from participating.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP + ACCESS
Give girls opportunities to practice leadership, not just learn about it.
Foundation support helps teen girls access leadership development, mentorship, service, community involvement, and real-world experiences where they can build confidence, contribute, and discover what they're capable of.

We envision a world where every girl—regardless of her financial circumstances—has access to the tools, mentorship, community, and opportunities she needs to know who she is, believe in what she's capable of, and confidently lead herself and others.
Girls are growing up in a different world.
Social media. Comparison. Friendship pressure. Constant connectivity. Academic expectations. A whole lot of noise telling girls who they should be before they've had the chance to figure out who they are.
We believe girls shouldn't have to reach a crisis before they're given tools to navigate life.
We can build skills earlier.
We can give girls opportunities to practice communication, resilience, leadership, self-advocacy, confidence, and connection before they're desperately needed.
And through the Foundation, we can work toward making those opportunities accessible to more girls.

Two organizations. One shared belief in girls.
Girls Mentorship Foundation grew out of six years of experience serving girls and families through Girls Mentorship.
Today, they are separate organizations with complementary roles.
Girls Mentorship develops and delivers mentorship, leadership, camps, after-school programs, curriculum, and personal development experiences for girls.
Girls Mentorship Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) public charity focused on expanding access to mission-aligned opportunities through scholarships, financial assistance, community funding, and charitable partnerships.
Girls Mentorship may be one of the program providers supported by the Foundation, alongside other mission-aligned opportunities and partners.
The goal is simple: get more girls access to experiences that help them grow.
There's more than one way to make an impact.
We're just getting started.
As the Foundation grows, so will the ways our community can participate—from volunteering and service projects to corporate partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, and opportunities for teens to lead and serve.
